We started the day of wandering around the University of Texas campus, just north of downtown. The place was fanatical; every second person was wearing Longhorns gear of some description.

While we were there we also visited the LBJ Library.

After visiting the Capitol we wandered around downtown, and along the lake, which unfortunately had got fairly dirty. We finished the night off with dinner at a traditional Texas Smokehouse followed by some drinks at a downtown jazz bar.
