We arrived in Hoi An, late at night, in the rain, only to find the hotel had lost our reservation. We finally found a place, but only after having to walk across town through the narrow, pedestrian filled streets, carrying our bags in the rain.
Thankfully the weather for the rest of our stay was better, and Hoi An remains one of the most beautiful towns in Vietnam.
