Our train for the journey to Hue.

After our time in Hoi An we got a car up to Danang before switching to the train for the journey up the coast to Hue. Unfortunately it rained the whole way, and for the whole day in Hue, and by the time we left the Citadel in Hue that evening we were absolutely drenched.

Having spent the morning checking out a pagoda just to the North of the Citadel we stopped by Hue’s main market before our flight. I’ve never seen anything like it before. It was basically in a giant parking garage-like structure over two levels, but I have never seen so many things in such a small space before.
