Central Washington

After our time in Seattle we had a day driving east through the heart of Washington. It is incredibly flat compared to the Cascades in the west of the state, but still very picturesque. We had a long way to drive in one day, so photo stops were limited, but just before we reached Spokane I pulled into a side road to get a photo of the fields in the late afternoon sun, and stumbled upon abandoned shack with a rusted car outside.
